Margaret ‘Margie’ Donovan, 65 of Temperance, MI, died Saturday, November 9, 2013 in her home. She worked at Blvd. Cafe in Detroit, MI. She is survived by her loving daughter, Linda (Tom) Groves. Grandchildren, Kristina Bowens. Sarah, Daryl, Private Brandon, Angel, Rachael, and Felicia Groves. Plus she’s leaving behind all the other people that knew her as ‘grandma’. When she lost her son, Colin Bowens in 2001 and then daughter, Georgia Bowens in 2006, a little girl wrote a note and gave it to her. Linda would like to share it.

Mama, it’s me Georgia, oh mama please don’t cry don’t let this bring tears to your pretty eyes. l’m in a better place, a place that can’t be described and there’s no more pain mama, no more pain inside. Thank you mama for all you have done, for all your hard work, and giving me all your unconditional love. l’m happier here mama, I love this place oh and mama before I forget Colin says, ‘hi.’ Yes, mama I once again see his beautiful face, and now we walk around together hand-in-hand, laughing and smiling on God’s beautiful land, so mama just remember my body might be gone, but my spirit is strong and lives on. I will never leave you mama, NEVER, until the break of dawn and life on earth is gone. I LOVE YOU MAMA!!!! And now all 3 walk hand in hand.

Margaret will continue touching people’s lives through her gift to Community Tissue Services. Services will be private. Arrangements by Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home, Temperance, MI.
